the sogolon movement was launched in February of 2010, as a catalog of my favorite watches. I had grown weary with all the crazy, blinged-out pieces that probably couldn’t keep time and depreciated instantly. So, I launched the site, to share and showcase timepieces with my fellow, internet-savvy timepiece enthusiasts.
Attracting a vast and diverse readership from around the globe, the movement is poised to become is the premier destination for timepiece news, reviews and culture on the web. sogolon movement has readers on all continents and this experience has been amazing. There are so many passionate collectors of timepieces in every corner of the world. I’m diggin’ it!
what exactly, IS, the movement??
the movement is a calling, a mission and a critical path….to present timepiece culture to a diverse base of readers and to also bring watchmakers face-to-face with this demographic. Many in the world of fashion, entertainment, business and sports love timepieces, but wouldn’t think much deeper than what they see in the malls or pages of popular magazines. the movement digs deeper, finding timepieces that are cutting edge, affordable, fashionable and attainable and bringing these timepieces to the attention of our diverse readership base.
I encourage you to stick with us, as we have a lot in store for the future of the site, and welcome all of your feedback.
Respect,
Jason Williams
