I now pronounce you…

Last week, I posed the question: “What timepiece is a perfect complement to a Maserati?”. Well, it didn’t take long for me to decide that MCT and Maserati look too good together to not have some sort of collaboration. I mean, you’ve no doubt heard the statement that certain couples “just look made for each other”. Well, I’m starting to see that in MCT’s Sequential One and the Maserati Quattroporte.

On surface and below, both of these machines exude style, confidence and an incredible attention to detail. So, I propose that MCT and Maserati go out on that first date…..and if they need a chaperone, please see my hand waving…

loose tape on MCT’s Sequential One…

• sequential indication of the hour, seconds and jumping dial
• mechanical, manual hand-winding movement
• Côtes de Genève finish on bridges and polished blocks
• 40 hour power reserve
• case formed from 18 carat gold
• sapphire crystal watch face with double anti-reflective treatment
• rotating minutes dial crafted from delicate sapphire
• double hand-stiched alligator strap with anti-allergic inner leather
• 18 carat gold, double deployment clasp
• limited editions of 99 Pieces per version

I have never heard of the MCT but it sure is a beautiful timepiece with the classic shape of the Tag Monaco (Steve McQueen). There is another watch by Audemars which is the “Audemars Piguet Millenary MC12 Tourbillon”. A mouthful but very nice and very expensive.

      That’s a great find! I hadn’t seen this timepiece.
