anonimo, meet icon 4×4…

Published on December 7th, 2010

I’ve been pondering a proposed collab partner for this ride ever since I first saw Icon’s line of custom jeeps. These beasts are legit! The Icon aesthetic is somewhat defined as restoration but all homages to iconic Jeeps aside, these rides resonate original flavor to me. Don’t be shocked at the sticker price…FJ series starts just over $105,000, and the average deliveries run $122-162,000 (depending on options, design package, and body style). The CJ3B model starts at $80,000 and ranges up to $100,000 (depending on options and design package). Build times average six to seven months. Not that many of these rides are in circulation which adds to their character. For more information on this maker, check Icon’s website.

Now, for the proposed collabo, I’m recommending Anonimo. I thought about Victorinox, Kobold and others but Anonimo seems to be the most organic fit. I’m sure that the folks at Icon will appreciate this timepiece, the Militare Automatico. Anonimo has been in and out of radar for quite some time, and I am always looking for new releases from this maker.

Anyhow, appreciate the rugged details on this beast…
