a timepiece with split-personalities…

This piece, the SW Chrono from Jaquet Droz is both mean and clean at the same time. The bezel and case have that rugged but very clean aesthetic and the combo of Roman and Arabci numerals is another interesting contrast. Not a big fan of pieces with Roman numerals but this is a creative presentation. Equally cool are the symmetrical sundials, skeletonized hands and the fluted treatment of the crown and pushers. JD is nice!!!
