The McGonigle Bros. may have moved me slightly closer to truly appreciating tourbies. I mean, I do appreciate them, they just don’t register with me immediately. This piece (pictured) really hits me from a pure design perspective. Everything from the finishing, fonts color balance and yes, the tourbie’s aperture got me at first glance.
On a related note, although I won’t likely be an owner of one of these, the fact that I found an Irish watchmaking tandem is pretty cool. I am on a quest to own a timepiece from every “major” market in the world, and some minor. Hope to find an Irish wrister soon to add to my collection!
