I recently began hearing from Nautica, part of the Timex Group, about their line of sport watches. For the longest, I have regarded Nautica as a fashion/apparel company, and haven’t really checked them for their timepieces. They launched their watch line in 1994, and have steadily become more aggressive with its timepieces these days, doing quite well in major retail outlets.
They just released the BFD 100 Multi, a piece with pure active lifestyles in mind. This beast is a LARGE one, boasting a 50mm case, a signature oversized crown and is water resistant up to 100M. It’s powered by a Japanese multifunction movement with day, date, and 24 hour sundials. I’m digging the options offered such as soft resin straps that are available in black, white, orange, or yellow. Nice way to add some color to one’s day!
