In 2011, Bentley is dropping’ some major cruisers, and I have one question: What is Breitling ready to drop in kind?
In recent years, Breitling has manufactured some really sick pieces in “collaboration” with Bentley Motors. Pictured is a face of the movement, the Flying B. It is distinguished by a wealth of details such as the knurled motif inspired by Bentley instrumentation, hour-markers sculpted from mother-of-pearl, or the subtle touch of color in the central zone echoed in the jumping-hour window. Like all models in the Breitling for Bentley collection, the Flying B is fitted with the Breitling Calibre 28B mechanical self-winding movement, officially chronometer-certified by the COSC. The Flying B is crafted in steel, in a prestigious red gold version, as well as in a white gold series and the case back is adorned with the legendary Bentley “Flying B”.
Bentley is bringing that blue heat, and one can only hope that Breit follows up on its successful collection of “B for B” timepieces! Check Bentley’s new CONTINENTAL GT, a Pillarless coupe with muscular ‘fastback’ styling. As this site is fiercely devoted to timepiece culture, I defer to the car rags to gloss the features of this cruiser, but trust that it is truly dope and worthy of mention on the movement!
